15 Pounds Of Italian Meat Crashes Down On Florida Family's Home

This meatstery is even more bizarre than Lady Gaga's iconic meat dress.

A family in Deerfield Beach is trying to solve a mystery after waking up to a loud thud, only to find that 15 pounds of frozen Italian sausages had seemingly fell on their house.

Travis Adair says he and his family were awakened Saturday morning by a loud bang coming from the roof of their home.

A total of 15 pounds of Italian sausage was found in bags marked William Land Service, a land-clearing company in Alabama.

The homeowners were baffled about how the sausage ended up on their roof and, naturally, decided to phone the company. But the Alabama-based company thought this was even stranger than the mystery meat served in elementary school cafeterias.

Adair even sent them pictures of the sausage but has yet to hear back.

In the meantime, the family has been coming up with their own theories.

"I thought possibly it had fallen from a plane. I thought possibly it was something to do with a drug deal or something," the mother, Jennie Adair, says.

Whatever the reason, the family says they would really like to know.

For now, we'll all continue to search for the missing link that ties together this sausage surprise.
