JetBlue Forgot A Florida Woman With Early Alzheimer's In A Boston Airport

A family is frustrated after they say JetBlue Airlines left their disabled mother at the wrong gate at Boston's Logan Airport.

The woman, identified as 74-year-old Carmen Courchesne,  was supposed to have landed in her hometown of Fort Meyers. Instead, her family said the airline forgot her on Tuesday.

An employee at the Massachusetts airport allegedly left the woman at the wrong gate.

Courchesne's husband recently passed away, and her kids thought she should visit two of her children and grandchildren in the Boston area.

JetBlue sent out a search party after Courchesne's daughter, Judy Davis, called wondering where she was.

The airline set her up in a hotel for the night and booked on the next flight back to Florida.

JetBlue released a statement saying in part: “We regret Ms. Courchesne’s experience, and are conducting a comprehensive review of the events with our business partners.”

Even with the airline’s actions, Davis says JetBlue overlooked a vulnerable, elderly woman.

Courchesne lives with her other daughter in Fort Meyers. After delays in the air due to storms, she finally made it home Wednesday evening.
