ICYMI: Judge Dominated The HRD, And We've Got You Covered With A Re-Cap

If you caught the action at Marlins Park Monday night, you saw that the Yankees' Aaron Judge reigned supreme at the All-Star Home Run Derby.

ICYMI, we've got you covered with a breakdown of the advancing bracket of the entire night, right down to Judge's win:

Judge, who had 30 slams at the All-Star break, never got to face off against defending champ and Marlins guy Giancarlo Stanton, who was eliminated in the opening round. But Judge more than lived up to his end of the bargain, hitting a total of 47 homers in the competition – including four of them over 500 feet.

A Yankees rookie, Judge was initially booed in opening ceremony announcements by many who were pro-Stanton. But he turned fans around by the end of the Derby, with a late-game surge. Fans, including Alex Rodriguez, who likened Judge as the LeBron James of baseball, sang his praise.

Judge rallied with a string of late homers, including a 513-foot blast -- the longest in Home Run Derby history. He hit the eventual winner in the final seconds to advance to Round 2.

He originally thought he had won on his previous swing, but umpires nullified the run because it hit the roof at Marlins Park(!!!). With that hit out of play, Judge stepped back into the batter box for one more swing, which, of course, he hit.

The win makes the New York Yankees the first team to reach four Home Run Derby winners, with Judge joining Robinson Cano (2011), Jason Giambi (2002) and Tino Martinez (1997).
