After a 12-year case, Boyton Beach Police have tracked down and arrested a man who allegedly sexually assaulted and impregnated a mentally disabled woman.
Pascal Estime, 55, was arrested Saturday at Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport as he was about to board a flight to Haiti.
Police say Estime sexually battered the victim on two occasions at her home in Boynton Beach in 2004, and eventually impregnated her.
The pregnancy was terminated, but DNA evidence was saved.
Police were able to obtain a warrant for Estime’s arrest on July 6th, after they finally tracked him to Orlando.
Estime has been taken to the Palm Beach County Jail, and is now awaiting charges.
