Authorities say a 12-year-old Ocala girl is dead following an ATV accident Sunday night in Marion County.
Florida Highway Patrol says Victoria Rial was riding as a passenger on the 2015 Honda ATV driven by 11-year-old Jordon Volker, when the vehicle overturned.
Around 7:14 p.m, the children were riding on SW 125th Terrace Road just north of the intersection of SW 73rd Street when the ATV ran off the road and overturned on its right side.
Rial was partially ejected from the overturn. She was transported to Timberridge Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Volker and a second passenger, 7-year-old Emanuel Rial of Ocala, escaped injury.
