Police have arrested a central Florida man who allegedly threatened to kill a couple "ISIS-style" then stabbed the woman in the arm.
Authorities say 49-year-old Jayson Scott Kearney was arrested in The Villages of Sumter County Friday on charges of aggravated battery, assault and criminal mischief.
A 70-year-old woman says she was watching television when Kearney allegedly approached her from behind and put his arm around her neck while holding a knife.
Kearney allegedy moved his arm across her throat and said "This is how I'm going to kill you," and said he would kill her "ISIS-style" by slicing her throat from ear to ear giving her a "smiley face."
An arrest report says Kearney told the woman and a 75-year-old man living with her that it would be easy to kill them.
At one point, Kearney stabbed the woman in the arm three times with a pocket knife.
Kearney stabbed the walls and television before deputies arrived and took him in to custody.
Kearney was being held without bond Wednesday, jail records showed.
