Two Firefighters Injured In 3-Alarm Blaze In Deerfield Beach

Two Broward County firefighters are injured after flames severely damaged one business and affected at least two others in a warehouse complex in Deerfield Beach Sunday night. 

The 3-alarm fire on the 4100 block of North Powerline Road, north of Sample Road, was reported between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Along with Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, crews from Pompano Beach Fire Department,Coral Springs Fire Department, Fort Lauderdale Fire Department and the Margate/Coconut Creek Fire Department were on hand to assist in the firefighting effort. 

On a Twitter post, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles indicated that two firefighters had injuries that were “not serious.”

What sparked the blaze is unknown at this time.
