Officials: One Injured In Hot Air Balloon Crash Near Disney World

One person is injured following a hot air balloon crash near Walt Disney World Orlando.

Orange County Fire Rescue says the balloon crashed into a retention pond around 8 a.m. Monday. The deflated balloon was found near the southbound lanes of SR 429 at Western Way.

Officials say 15 people, including children, were on the side of the pond, but it's not known if all were aboard the balloon.

No other details, including what caused the crash, are immediately known.
