WATCH: TS Cindy Makes Landfall

Tropical Storm Cindy is leading heavy rains along the Gulf Coast and officials warn that flash flooding and tornadoes are still a threat.

The storm made landfall early this morning near the Texas-Louisiana border with as much as 15-inches of rain expected in some areas.

The storm already claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy in Alabama yesterday and in New Orleans, authorities are telling residents to expect long power outages and potential evacuations.

Cindy is expected to turn northeast as it moves inland and Tennessee is already bracing for flooding.
