Changing a street name in Hollywood is reportedly a lengthy process.  Out of the seven member commission, five must vote "yes" on the matter, signatures from two-thirds of the street's property owners supporting the name change is required and it must be reviewed by a naming committee that's not in place.  Before any of that can happen, a new name for the street must be chosen.
