There are minor flooding concerns for South Florida this Friday and throughout the entire weekend.
A Flood Advisory was issued Friday morning and was set to expire at mid-day (12:45 p.m.). But with more rain expected throughout the day and this weekend, the advisory could be extended. New concerns and measures also have the potential of being issued throughout the weekend.
Rainfall amounts of 4 to 5 inches have been reported and an additional inch of rain is possible through noon. The heaviest rain was over Sweetwater, Coral Gables, and Coral Way Village.
Additional areas of concern are northeastern and east central Miami-Dade, including Hialeah, Miami, Miramar, Coral Gables, South Miami, Kendall, Pinecrest and Richmond Heights.
