David Beckham Soccer Stadium One Step Closer To Being Built In Miami-Dade

Soccer superstar David Beckham is another step closer to building his soccer stadium Miami-Dade County... and it's a big step.

The commissioner who initially put the plan on hold, has now changed course and has given Beckham a formal endorsement.

Commissioner Audrey Edmonson is now sponsoring the legislation to sell Beckham the land in Overtown for $9 million dollars.

Beckham plans to build a 25,000 seat, privately-financed stadium.

A deciding vote by commissioners is set for next week.
