New Study Needs Volunteers That Want To Get Paid To Smoke Pot

Researchers at Washington State University are in need of volunteers interested in smoking marijuana... AND getting paid to light up!

KIRO reports that researchers are developing a breathalyzer that can detect marijuana use.

Participants will take a blood test and mouth swab as preliminary testing. The volunteers will then buy any marijuana of their choice and smoke it privately at their home. Taxis will then pick up volunteers and bring them to the hospital for secondary testing. The cabs will ensure that no one drives under the influence.

Volunteers will be paid $30 an hour for the first hour with an extra $10 for each additional hour of participation.

Volunteers must be at least 21-years-old to participate.

Planning to be in Washington for the next month? Those interested in participating can email researchers at peyton.nosbusch@wsu.edu or Nathan_Weller@hotmail.com.

The study will begin Tuesday and go through June 15.
