Comey To Testify Before Senate Intel Committee

(Washington, DC)  --  Former FBI Director James Comey will testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee in a public hearing to be scheduled after Memorial Day.

Comey was fired by President Trump last week amid an ongoing investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 election, including possible ties to members of the Trump campaign.

Comey had previously refused a request to testify before the panel in a closed-door session.
