Hurricane Homeroom: Seasonal Prep With Meteorologist Bryan Norcross

With the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season beginning June 1, we are all preparing our homes, families and assets.

Florida State University alum, renowned television meteorologist and hurricane specialist Bryan Norcross joins us live in the WIOD studio to discuss both the upcoming season, what to expect and the 25th anniversary of Hurricane Andrew.

Norcoss tells WIOD anchor Al Lewis that, even with today's technologies, we cannot always accurately predict the path of a hurricane -- much like what we saw during this past year's experience with Hurricane Matthew.

Bryan Norcross works for the Weather Channel, and has been a meteorologist for WTVJ-TV, WFOR-TV and the chief hurricane analyst for NBC News in New York City.
