News Radio 610 WIOD has the honor of being nominated in the Miami New Times' "Best of Miami 2017" readers poll.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, he New Times' Best Of readers poll celebrates more than 300 of the area's restaurants, clubs, television stations, radio stations and personalities, diversions, shopping and more. Four different categories are highlighted:

- Shopping & Services
- Sports & Recreation
This year, WIOD is proud to announced that it is in the running for "Best Radio Station," alongside our sister station Y100, and 104.3 The Shark, Revolution 93.5 and WLRN 91.3. WIOD is honored to be the only AM station in this year's running.

The Best of Miami 2017 Miami New Times issue hits newsstands June 15. Winners will be celebrated with a party at the new Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science on Thursday, June 22, from 8 to 11 p.m.
