The annual March for Babies will take place in Miami-Dade County Saturday.
The March of Dimes organization sponsors the walk, which helps to raise money and make a lifetime of a difference for babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Funds raised allow for critical treatments and care that is essential for babies in need.
"The community you‘re joining helps moms at every stage, from preconception to annual family walk day. The research you fund will help every mom and every baby for generations to come."
The three mile walk takes place at Tropical Park at 7900 SW 40 Street in Miami. Participants may access the park at one of two entrances: Miller Road (SW 56 Street) and Bird Road (SW 40 Street).
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. The walk begins at 9 a.m.
