Man, Three Children Arrested in Miami Robbery and Car Chase

One man and three children are in  custody after two robberies and a police chase that took place in Miami Monday.

The chase ended in a crash at Miami MacArthur South Senior High School.

Miami-Dade Police say Charles Flowers Junior, two 14-year-old boys and a 12-year-old were in the car when it ran into the side of the building.

The group is also accused of snatching the purses of elderly women at a bus stop and at Southland Mall.

Flowers is facing charges of grand theft auto, fleeing from an officer, and a second offense of diving with a suspended license. He is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center with a bond that was previously posted at $10,000.

It is unclear if the minors are facing any charges at this time.
