Woman Arrested For Charging "Cover Fee of Drugs" To Enter Florida Home

A Sarasota woman is arrested after authorities say she ran a drug flop house from her own home.

Danielle Baggett, 37, allegedly charged a "cover fee of drugs" to enter the house. Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of seven overdoses at the home on April 11, including her own. Baggett was arrested on a charge of running a nuisance dwelling.

Records say victims told investigators Baggett created an environment “for everyone to get high.”

Investigators first began looking into a surge of heroin and fentanyl overdoses at the home in August of 2016.
