Police are actively searching for a tow truck driver who never returned from a job in Davie over the weekend.
Authorities say 38-year-old Valentino Malloggi was last seen Sunday night at a truck stop at 2705 Burris Road. Malloggi allegedly told family members that he was leaving to do a job for his tow truck company, and they have yet to hear from him since then.
The truck itself was found Monday morning at 3501 Burris Road with the engine running, but Malloggi's personal belongings were gone.
Police suspect foul play and continue to investigate the situation. Anyone with information on Malloggi's whereabouts is asked to call Davie police at 954-693-8200.
