APPARENTLY, Eric Trump has never been on his father's Twitter page.
I mean, that's the only plausible explanation when it comes to Donald's son's response to people who are mean in Twitter. In an interview with Ireland's Independent newspaper, Eric Trump said:
“No matter what side it is with, you are always going to get backlash. You are going to have a few people who have nothing better to do than to sit behind a computer and send a mean tweet. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the nature of the game.”
A mean tweet? People who have nothing better to do than to send A MEAN TWEET? What the heck then does he call what his father does all day?! POTUS, clearly, has gained a reputation for using Twitter as a platform to hurl insult after insult at whomever he wishes. IN FACT, the New York Times has a list of 325 people, places and things Trump has negatively tweeted about since declaring his candidacy.
... Take a look, it's actually pretty depressing how long the list is.
Branching off of this hilarious comment, let's not forget FLOTUS's promise that, upon becoming first lady, she would fight against cyber bullying. Pretty hypocritical, when Melania has a husband who tweets things such as:
You're right, Eric. It is really unfortunate that some people seem to have nothing better to do than sit behind a computer and send mean tweets. LOL. Thank you for the comical irony.
