President Donald Trump, a man that we all know to be opinionated, wordy and steadfast on getting the last laugh, has taken to Twitter to promote a book that has virtually. no. words.
In the middle of a Monday morning Twitter rant (what else is new?), Trump lent an endorsement to a 266-page piece titled Reasons To Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide, authored by Michael J. Knowles.
The peculiar thing about the book, we should mention, is that most of those 266 pages are entirely blank.
The Amazon book description reads "The most exhaustively researched and coherently argued Democrat Party apologia to date, Reasons To Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide is a political treatise sure to stand the test of time. Lefty lawyers require that we state the book is mostly blank and contains precisely 1,235 words."
Remarkably, even though the one-note gag is revealed in the sample pages included by Amazon and other retailers, the book still checks in at No. 4 on Amazon’s Political Humor bestseller list.
And now it seems as though we can also count the President as a fan.
