An 11-year-old student was airlifted from Palm Springs North Elementary in Northwest Miami-Dade on Monday afternoon after falling down stairs.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools say the boy was responsive to his parents and paramedics. First responders decided to airlift the child because of possible head trauma.
Officials say there's no indication foul play was involved and authorities are investigating.
