U-S Senator Bill Nelson in Miami Tuesday. Senator Nelson will meet with officials at U.S. Southern Command, which oversees U-S operations in South America, for a briefing on the political crisis in Venezuela.
His visit comes on the heels of renewed anti-government protests in Venezuela. Senator Nelson recently sent a letter to Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, urging him to enforce sanctions against those responsible for the on-going violence in Venezuela.
