Pennsylvania Man Accused of Shooting Teen Arrested in Florida

Authorities in Pennsylvania say a man being sought in the shooting of a 13-year-old boy through the bedroom window of his home has been arrested in Florida.

Brevard County Sheriff's Officers say 19-year-old Matthew Hale was arrested in Melbourne  around 8:30 p.m. Sunday on charges of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. He now also faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons possession.

State police in Pennsylvania say the shooting victim and two friends were in his bedroom (in Pennsylvania) Friday night when a car pulled into the driveway and a man came to the window and punched the screen in, yelling obscenities.

The two friends ran but heard loud bangs and gunshots and then the victim screaming.

He was critically injured.

Hale is currently in Brevard County Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail.
