Easter Celebration Shooting Under Investigation in Melbourne

The search is on Monday for suspects and a motive after an Easter Sunday shooting at a large, outdoor holiday celebration.  

Melbourne Police say the shooting happened shortly before 7:45 p.m. at Lipscomb Park Community Center in Melbourne, when two men got out of a car and started shooting into a crowd of hundreds of people.  

Two adults and a 17-year-old boy were wounded. The victims were taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
