(Orlando, FL) (AP) - After it appeared the matter was settled last week, the discussion is continuing today about who will represent accused cop killer Markeith Loyd in court.
Loyd and his court assigned lawyer are in court today, trying to convince a judge that well known Miami defense lawyer Terence Lenamon should be allowed to be co-counsel. The judge denied Loyd's request to make Lenamon his primary court appointed lawyer, but has left open the possibility he could still be involved in the case.
Loyd is charged with killing Orlando Police Lieutenant Debra Clayton and his pregnant ex-girlfriend Sade Dixon.
