New Survey Shows Being $ingle Can Co$t You

Many complain that being in a relationship is a lot of work, and a lot of money. Dates, dinners, AND gifts? UGH! 

But new data shows that being single ain't so cheap either! Match.com's 2017 "Singles in America" survey found that singles are spending just over $1,500 dollars each year to go out on dates. 

$1,500 !!!

Women may be shelling out some more cash too. The survey finds that 71 percent of men would prefer to split the bill when it comes to dates.

The survey looked at the dating tendencies of more than 5,500 singles in America. The price includes everything from new outfits, to bar tabs and dating apps.
