A group of lumberjacks made a discovery right out of The Junglebook when they rescued the girl, believed to be between 8- and 10-years-old, who has allegedly been raised by a troop of monkeys.

Upon discovery in January, the girl was unable to speak and was naked and emaciated. Her rescuers were attacked and chased my monkeys as they sped away with the girl in the car. She was immediately taken to a hospital in Bahraich, a town in northern India.
