Hallandale High School is currently on lock down for a code red.
Police responded to the school's campus, located off NW 9th Avenue, shortly after 12 p.m. Thursday.
Students were scheduled to have a noon dismissal today, but those students are currently inside the building, remaining on lock down.
Reports allege that a gun may have been found on campus. It is unclear when, when, or how the possible firearm was detected.
