Payless ShoeSource will be closing approximately 50 stores throughout that state of Florida.
The closures were announced today as part of the company's bankruptcy. At the same time, the footwear outlet took to social media to ensure fans that they are "here to stay". They encourage people to search for the nearest location on their website.
A total of 400 of its stores will be closing throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Like many other retailers, Payless has been trying to survive great financial troubles.
Payless says the stores will close "immediately" but did not give an exact timeline.
