Constitution Revision Commission Comes to South Florida

If there's something in Florida's Constitution you'd like to change, you can start by speaking up.

Once every 20 years the Constitution Revision Commission or CRC meets to review our state's constitution and propose changes for voter consideration.

Chairman Carlos Beruff says the CRC is making a stop in South Florida for public hearings.

"Florida is a unique state, it is the only state that has this process.  That one person can walk up to a podium and voice an idea that makes it better for the future of all Floridians," said Chairman Beruff.

He advises attendees to sign up when they walk in if they'd like to speak.  People will get two minutes to talk and everything will be recorded in order for the meeting to be well documented.
