UPDATE: FL Reps. Urge Gov. Scott To Remove State Attorney Ayala From Office

UPDATE: 4/4/2017 at 10:35 a.m.

Five Central Florida State Representatives are meeting with Gov. Rick Scott today to ask him to completely remove State Attorney Aramis Ayala from office.

The request is the latest in a series of events that have happened since Ayala said she would not seek the death penalty for accused cop killer Markeith Loyd, or in any other case.

Yesterday (as stated below), Scott took 21 first degree murder cases away from Ayala and gave them to State Attorney Brad King.

Ayala says she's taking the matter to the Florida Supreme Court.
