(Tallahassee, FL) - The State Senate's version of a bill to set up rules for medical marijuana in Florida is advancing.
State Bill 406 passed through the Health Quality Committee Tuesday, and has to go through two more committees before getting to the Senate floor.
The bill includes comprehensive tracking of the medicinal cannabis from seed to sale. The rules, including input from the Florida Health Department, must be in place by July.
