Miami-Dade Police still looking for a woman who pepper sprayed cops and loss prevention associates at Dadeland Mall Saturday.
While officers had been called to the Macy's there to arrest 24-year-old Adrius Jones for shoplifting, a woman used pepper spray in the elevator where the officers and suspect were.
The pepper spray chemical allegedly entered the air conditioner ventilation and at least 350 to 400 people had to be evacuated from the store. The remainder of the mall was unaffected.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue treated four patients at the mall and transported one victim to a hospital, according to a report by NBC 6.
The woman ran out of the department store, escaping security. Officers say the woman is a black female between 25 and 30 years old, has dreads and was dressed in all black.
