Could A Florida Correctional Facility Be Neglecting Its Inmates?

State representatives claim a women's prison in North Florida has been depriving inmates of heat and hot water for at least several months.

Now, Governor Scott is being urged to use his emergency powers to replace top officers, and take control of Gadsden Correctional Facility.

During a recent visit there, Miami Rep. David Richardson says he saw dozens of cases of "potential wrongdoing", and says there are significant health and safety concerns.
