Forget the lines! Warehouse club giant Costco will soon be making home deliveries.
A delivery service called Shipt says it will begin making runs to Costco to pick up orders from customer members.
The delivery service is planned to launch in Tampa. It is then expected to expand to 50 markets and 30 million households by the end of the year. Costco has previously focused on delivery to businesses — this will be the first test of home-based deliveries.
Shipt already operates in more than 35 cities and continues to expand.
