Bill Would Ban Red Light Cameras in Florida

Red light. Green light. Red light?

Legislators are discussing a bill that would ban red-light cameras throughout the entire state Wednesday.

About 700 cameras currently set up and bring in about $62 million dollars revenue for the state, and millions more for local governments every year.

Those in favor of the cameras say they're important for public safety, but others argue they cause more accidents and are an invasion of privacy. The law would go into effect in three years if it passes.
