Poll Shows Many Canadians Don't Want Illegal Immigrants Either

I wonder what Justin Trudeau thought when he read about this while enjoying his Tim Horton's breakfast...

Many Canadians think people who cross into their country illegally should be deported.  A new Reuters poll finds almost half (48%) of those surveyed support increasing the deportation of people living in Canada illegally. Results also included 41% of respondents saying they believe those people could make Canada less safe. Sounds familiar, eh?

Meantime, 46% disagree with how the Canadian Prime Minister has been handling the immigration issue, which has pitted him between liberals in Canada's Parliament who want more asylum-seekers allowed in to the country while conservatives underscore the security risk unchecked immigration poses.

A similar poll conducted during the same time in the U.S. found that 50% of Americans favor increasing deportations of illegal aliens. The problem with deporting them, especially those convicted of crimes, is their home countries don't want them back.
