Ten Arrested for Florida Opioid Trafficking Ring

Ten men have been arrested for an opioid trafficking ring that passed through Florida.

Beginning in 2014, prosecutors say the men transported large quantities of the drug from Florida to Massachusetts and Maine for distribution. Profits from the sale of the drugs were then transferred back to Florida to be laundered.

The investigation was conducted over a three year period. The men face charges including conspiracy to distribute and possess heroin, fentanyl and oxycodone and conspiracy to launder monetary instruments.
