Bill Would Allow Florida Students to Express Religious Beliefs

A religious expression bill is moving forward in Florida, which would allow public school students to:

  • Express religious beliefs in oral and written assignments
  • Wear religious clothing and jewelery
  • Pray or engage in and organize religious activities before, during, and after the school day

While the bill narrowly passed in the Senate Judiciary Committee, opponents of Bill 436 call it too vague.
