A South Florida toddler is recovering after an attack by a neighborhood dog.
The parents of 15-month old Jaila Lamote speaking out after their baby was bit in the face Saturday. Jalia suffered wounds to the left side of her face and received nearly 20 stitches.
Her mother, Claudia Lamote tells our news partner NBC 6 she was feeding her food when the dog attacked her daughter.
"I grabbed my daughter and there was just blood all over me and I panicked and I told the neighbor please call 911," said Claudia.
The owner reportedly had the dog euthanized by Miami-Dade Animal Services.
