A mega job fair is coming to the BB&T Center Wednesday.
Fifty companies are scheduled to attend the South Florida Mega Job Fair; representing more than 1,000 job opportunities.
Attendees are asked to treat the event like an interview. For free parking and admission, organizers ask that appropriate attire is worn and copies of resumes are made prior to the event (50 copies). Attendees will not be able to print or make copies at the venue.
Opportunities to look out for include:
- Miami Dolphins is hoping to hire over 200 Guest Experience reps! They are also hiring 50 people for event parking
- Carnival Cruise Line offers employees 2 complimentary Fun Ship Cruises per year! They will be recruiting for over 50 employees
- The Florida Panthers will be interviewing for more than 50 positions at the BB&T Center
- The Diplomat Beach Resort will be at the event hiring over 60 people
- BF Saul: Towneplace Suites and Springhill Suites will be conducting on the spot interviews and job offers for 10 hotel openings
- Hotwire Communications will be screening candidates at the fair for various positions
- Racetrac is looking for guest associates as well as entry and store managers
- Dollar General will be doing on the spot interviews for over 50 Store Managers, Assistant Managers and Sales Associates
- City of Fort Lauderdale is hiring for Assistant Unified Network Administrators, Regional Wastewater Plant Operators, Plumbers, Plumbing Plans Examiners, Mechanical Inspectors and Project Managers
- Jiffy Lube will be conducting on the spot interviews for 20 positions
- Domino’s will be interviewing for 30 Delivery Drivers and 5 Assistant Managers to work at any of the 50 Dominos corporate stores

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 15, at the BB&T Center at 1 Panther Pkwy, in Sunrise, FL (33323) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In the meantime, attendees are asked to prepared for the following:
