A serial shoplifter from Florida has been convicted of three counts of burglary and two counts of retail theft.
Ignatius Pollara, 51, also known as the "Toys 'R' Us Kid" and the "Lego Bandit", was convicted Monday in Illinois.
Pollara was previously arrested in 2015 after police say he stole about $80 in art supplies from a Hobby Lobby. He was also convicted in a 2012 burglary spree where he stole more than $2 million in Lego sets and Toys "R" Us toys.
Authorities say more than 10 officers followed Pollara after they were tipped off that he would be flying into Chicago from Florida on July 2. He is scheduled for sentencing on April 24.
