FPL Expands Alternate Energy Use

Florida Power and Light makes a big announcement Monday.

FPL is planning to add eight new universal solar power plants in our state.  FPL Spokesperson, Bill Orlove, says it could help your wallet.

"These investments that we're making in solar energy centers, along with other investments we've made, help us to keep our costs down and provide our customers with clean energy," said Orlove.

Orlove says they generate power from natural gas, nuclear and solar energy.
