A sanctuary showdown is happening in Miami today.
Protesters are gathering at the Government Center to express concerns about how undocumented immigrants are going to be dealt with.
During a special meeting with Miami-Dade commissioners today, the topic is being discussed, including the changes made by Mayor Carlos Gimenez three weeks ago.
Gimenez said the county would follow the law and detain any illegal immigrants, to keep from losing federal funds.
