City Of Miami Beach Brings Anti-Bullying Program to Schools

The City of Miami Beach is taking steps to combat bullying in schools.

Starting in the 2017-18 school year, all six Miami Beach public schools will be designated as a "No Place for Hate."  Dr. Leslie Rosenfeld with the City of Miami Beach says it's run by students.

"It's an anti-bias and diversity program that implements various activities throughout the school year," said Dr. Rosenfeld.

She says the Anti-Defamation League and Miami-Dade Public Schools are teaming up with the city to get the project off the ground and ultimately create a culture of respect and peace in and out of the classroom.
