Lee County's elections supervisor is assuring voters that their data isn't compromised after a hack to its website.
The county's elections website was hacked yesterday to show an anti-ISIS message.
The hacking happened as the elections website was being upgraded. The message has since been removed.
Statement from Supervisor of Elections Tommy Doyle:
"I would like to take a moment and personally assure the voters of Lee County that their voter records are secure and have not been compromised. As always, the website and Voter Registration databases are kept separate. Lee SOE will continue to apply the latest in security patches as they become available."
