This week is "Miami School Choice Week."
The event goes beyond South Florida, across America schools will celebrate National School Choice Week.
It's a chance for parents to learn about education options for their kids. Spokesperson Shelby Doyle says there are a lot of choices.
"Charter schools, magnet schools, online academies, private schools and home school. They're all great options for different kids with different interests and talents," said Doyle.
She says it's held the last week of January every year in order to give parents time to make decisions about next year's schooling for their child.
