While the Women's March takes place in Washington D.C. Saturday, a Women's Rally will be held here at Bayfront Park to coincide with the event.
The rally is a part of the national day of action. Co-Organizer, Laura Sawyer Broder, says it's not a protest.
"There's no mention of the new administration, we are really going to focus on rights that are already somewhat marginalized prior to this. It's been a wake up call," said Sawyer Broder.
She says the South Florida rally will be different than the one in D.C.
"We're having non-profits on hand and we want people to get involved on January 22nd. We want people to get involved in our community," said Sawyer Broder.
Ten thousand people are expected to attend. It starts at 1 p.m. at Bayfront Park Saturday. It's open to everyone who supports women's rights.
